Hopefully, everyone got thru the holidays unscathed and enjoyed time with family and friends.
While over the past few months ain’t seen much fishing, I have been busy rebuilding both motors and giving the boat some much needed tlc. Happy to say, I’m back up and running so now I just need the weather.
I have been staying in contact with fellow guides and keeping up with catches. The flounder fishing is slowing down but there are lots of oversized bull reds being caught on the beachfront. A few huge black drum are starting to show along with the ever tasty sheepshead.
I’m anxiously waiting the first calm day offshore to run and chase wahoo. Amberjack season and triggerfish season is back open so we can get some good eats if the seas will allow.
The last week of January will find me in Orange Beach Alabama at this quarters marine fisheries meeting There is a ton of interesting stuff happening that will effect the charter boat fleets future.
spring break is only 8 weeks away and spots are starting to fill. Call soon to book your family friendly trip in Galveston bay or the gulf of Mexico.
